Synopsis:

Every story has a hero and a villain, but not every villain gets to tell their story. After being betrayed by his best friend, Sebastian, the protagonist of the RPG Talismanic, Varian is cast as the villain. In a new update, Varian becomes sentient and learns he can escape his tragic life using the five talismans that protect the kingdom. However, his escape breaks the game, pulling him, Sebastian, and 3 NPCs into the real world. Will Varian find freedom or a way back for him and the others?

CHARACTERS

VARIAN

A man who grew up with a rough childhood. From from the "alleys", a lower section of the kingdom packed tightly like sardines, housing the peasant class. Living with his weak mother and abusive father, Varian struggled to have a moment of peace. His weaker frame causing him to be sick for months at a time.

His desire for escape brought him to the world of literature, spending hours reading stories of the worlds he dreamed of.

Joining the knights seemed like a way out of the life he lived, but torment continues to riddle his path and paint him the villain of this story. When given the chance to escape, he takes it immediately. But this sudden freedom comes at what cost?
